Stage - where the characters move and act
Sprites - characters or props in the program. The sprites are located in the Sprites box. Scratch provides lots of sprites for you to use.

LOOKS - makes sprites say things, change how sprites look (colors, size)
SOUND- makes computer play sounds, change volume
Variables - makes variables
EVENTS - makes things happen like "click flag" or key presses
CONTROL - loops, repeat, forever, if thens
SENSING - makes sprites do something when it touches other things or asks questions
